Things change moment to moment, things are impermanent. We worry over the past, we anticipate the future, and we barely perceive a shred of the passing moment.

Google Saves The Day...yet again.

We all know that Google has become one of the most powerful search tools on your computer at home or at the office... but now your cell phone gets in on the action. Even if your cellphone doesn't have internet access, you can still use Google's services by using SMS--Simple Messaging Service. You can find out how to use it on the "More" page of Google.com--look for "Go mobile" and then "SMS." By sending a text message to Google at 46645 (googl), you can get weather information, driving directions, or a phone number. Google will text message an answer back to you in seconds. To do this, you need to know how to use text messaging on your phone. If you haven't been privy to the text sensation that's sweeping the world, consult your phone's manual and get on board.
Here's a sampling of the kinds of information Google can send to your cellphone, along with examples of text messages you could use to request it:

Weather information-- weather los angeles ca
Phone numbers-- martha lemmywinks 90275
Driving Directions-- sherman oaks ca to orange ca
Up to the Minute Stock Prices-- aapl or goog
Movie Times-- rocky part eleven 90069

Remember, you send these messages to 46645 (googl)--and wait only moments for them to answer. I personally tried the movie text and less than a minute later, I found eight different theatres where I could watch Borat within ten miles of my location...Cooool!
